Working…
The Speed Changer adjusts how fast a track plays. Use it to fit a voiceover into a time slot, slow a phrase for practice, or create a simple sped-up version for social clips.
You pick a rate (for example 0.75×, 1×, or 1.5×), listen to the result, and download a rendered file. Processing is designed to stay on your device.
Pitch may shift with speed when using classic rate change — that is expected for this simple tool. For nightcore-style presets, see Nightcore Maker; for reverb + slow, see Slowed + Reverb.
Presets make common rates one click away: half speed, 0.75×, original, 1.25×, 1.5×, and double speed. One-click vibes jump straight to Slowed, Slowed + Reverb, Nightcore, or Sped Up so you can preview a style before fine-tuning the slider.
The waveform and duration readout update as you change the rate, so you can see the new length before you export. Everything runs locally in the browser — your audio is not uploaded to Sound Booster servers.

Choose a playback rate such as 0.75× for a slower version, 1× for the original rate, or 1.5× for a faster version. You can use presets or fine-tune the control and preview the result.
Export the processed track as a WAV file. The new duration is calculated from the selected rate, so you can see how much shorter or longer the result will be before downloading.
Speed changes are useful for more than music. Slow down speech or a difficult passage when you are learning, reviewing an interview, practicing an instrument, or checking a detail in a recording. Faster playback can help shorten long recordings or create energetic versions for short-form content.
Remember that classic speed changes affect both playback time and pitch. A slower rate normally makes the sound lower, while a faster rate normally makes it higher. If you need to change pitch without changing the overall duration, use the Pitch Shifter instead.
For natural results, start with a moderate rate change and listen before exporting. Extreme values can make voices and instruments sound noticeably different from the original.
Yes with basic speed change — faster usually sounds higher, slower lower. Dedicated pitch tools separate those controls more carefully.
