Working…
It is a browser-based tool for cutting a portion out of an audio file. You set a start time and an end time, keep only that region, and download a new file. Typical uses include removing silence at the beginning of a voice memo, dropping a long intro from a podcast take, or isolating one example from a longer recording.
Unlike a full DAW, the trimmer focuses on one job: select a range and export it. There is no timeline full of tracks and plugins — just enough control to get a clean segment without installing software or creating an account.
Processing is designed to run on your device. The source file does not need to be uploaded to Sound Booster servers for the core trim workflow. After you export, you can open the result in Volume Booster or the Audio Converter if you still need more gain or a different format.

Enter times in seconds or drag the range controls. The duration of the selection updates as you adjust. Use Play selection to hear only the region you will keep.
Click Trim & download. The tool cuts the buffer to your range and saves a new file locally. Nothing from this step is stored on Sound Booster servers.
The Audio Trimmer is useful when you only need a specific part of a recording. You can remove silence, cut unwanted introductions or endings, isolate a short quote, or prepare a clean sample from a longer file.
For the most accurate edit, zoom in on the waveform and preview the selected range before exporting. Starting and ending at a clear waveform boundary can help avoid unwanted clicks or cutting a word or musical note too early.
Because the core editing workflow runs in your browser, you can quickly make a cut without installing desktop audio software or creating an account. The exported WAV can then be converted to MP3 or another format if required.
No. Decoding and cutting are designed to run locally in the browser. We do not upload your audio to Sound Booster for trimming.
The trimmed result is exported as WAV for maximum compatibility after editing. You can then convert it to MP3 or another format with the Audio Converter if needed.
This tool is built for audio files. For video, use Video Volume Booster or convert the soundtrack separately. A dedicated video trimmer may come later.
Yes. It is free to use in the browser with no account required, the same as the volume and converter tools on Sound Booster.
